Randy Orton beat Drew McIntyre. Early in the match both lock up each other and move to the corner. Orton hits Drew with uppercuts, a dropkick and sending him to the floor. Orton hits Drew on the fan barrier twice and takes him back to the ring.

Suddenly Drew hits Orton with a big boot for 2 counts. Drew tried for Chinlock but Orton counters it with Headbutts. Drew drops Orton with a Neckbreaker and goes to the top rope. Orton makes a come back and puts his feet up when Drew comes down from the top rope. Orton hits clotheslines, a power slam, second rope draping DDT and finally the RKO for the win.

Champion Randy Orton faced Christian in the singles match for the World Heavy Championship Title at the Capitol Punishment PPV on June 19. Randy defeated Christian in the match by applying RKO to him followed by the pinfall. It took 14 min. 09 sec. for Randy to pin Christian and won the match. Randy with his win against Christian successfully defends the World Heavyweight Championship and continued with his second reign of Championship

With the defeat of Sheamus from Christian in a singles match on the June 17 Smackdown episode had ended the chances of Triple Treat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship at Capitol Punishment PPV. If Sheamus could have won this match then Randy would have to defend the World Heavyweight Championship from Sheamus along with Christian in a Triple Treat Match. Now the final action for World Heavy Weight Championship at the Capitol Punishment would be between Champion Randy Orton and Christian.

Randy Orton has accepted Captain Charisma’s challenge for the World Heavyweight Champion’s Title match at Capitol Punishment PPV. Christian challenged reigning World Heavyweight Champion on Smackdown’s June 10, 2011 episode. Randy accepting his challenge invited him in to the ring for the match at that moment only. Christian contravenes and said he would face him at Capitol Punishment only. Now Randy Orton will be facing Christian on June 19 at Capitol Punishment PPV which is going to be held at Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. At Capitol Punishment PPV Randy will be in the ring to defend his reigning championship title and Christian to regain the title from Randy which he lost to him on May 3, 2011.

On June 3, 2011 episode of Smackdown in a match for World Heavyweight Championship champion Randy Orton faced Sheamus with Christian as a special referee. Randy Orton defeated the Sheamus by pinfall and retained the World Heavyweight Championship.
